Events

Welcome There are many little changes. And we are working hard to make this all as simple & easy as possible! The Sanctuary is being sanitized every week, along with all “touchable” surfaces! We are using every other pew. It is a large sanctuary and will accommodate social distancing for our church family.

  • We will NOT be having Sunday school for a bit.

  • The café will be closed until further notice

  • Children will remain in the sanctuary for announcements & then be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall.

Kids – Please stay 6 feet away from anyone you haven’t seen lately

November 8th - We will be honoring our Veterans. If you have served in the military and still have your uniform, bring it with you! We will be hanging them in the sanctuary for that morning!

November 25th - On Wednesday evening, at 6pm we will be having our Thanksgiving Eve Service. Plan to attend an evening to give praises to the Lord for His goodness!

Pastor has been preaching a new sermon series these last few weeks on “The Seven I AM Statements of Jesus!” If you missed the previous messages, they are available on our Facebook page!

For those of you who receive the Alliance Women Newsletter, “They've Gone Digital!” You will no longer find the Alliance Women newsletter in your mailbox. Instead, they will deliver it to your email inbox. If you have never read the newsletter, it is a very nice publication! You can get more information at: http://www.alliancewomen.org

Stamp Ministry

Please continue to bring your stamps to church! See Joyce Walker if you have questions. Click the stamp to the right for more information.

Thank you for the stamps you send to this ministry. The income generated from this ministry goes to support the preparation, publishing and distribution of a new Spanish language curriculum for Sunday Schools in Latin America. More than 50 lesson series have been published and are being used in churches of 40 different denominations and missions in 19 Latin American countries. Last year a total of $36,000 was realized from the sale of the stamps you sent us.

General Instructions

Carefully trim the stamps. When possible leave a border around the stamp of 1/4” to 1/3” and keep all corner fringe and borders. Please do not remove any stamps off the paper as buyers will not purchase such stamps.

Samaritans Purse

Operation Christmas Child 2020

What is Operation Christmas Child? Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

Please consider helping to “fill the gap” & provide items we still need: Toothbrushes 15, washcloths 3, pacifiers 9, Band-Aids 34, rulers 6, bibs 2, soap 8, calculators 40, tiny cups 34, onsies 5, t-shirts 38, Kleenex 35, small reading books 26, kid scissors 40, socks 44, flashlights 37, erasers 10, colored pencils 5, Chapstick 24. (We will update you weekly.)

In October we are asking you to write a letter & possibly include a photo. November we will need help with the shipping cost of $9 a box. It’s such a blessing to be able to fill these boxes with wonderful things!

National Collection Week is Nov. 16–23.

We will be packing the boxes on Saturday, November 7th at 4:30pm. Please join us! We have ideas about how to fill them while following Covid guidelines! It will be fun!

2019 Shoebox Gifts Traveled to the Ends of the Earth! 10,569,405 Shoebox Gifts were collected. Many children around the world have never heard the Gospel message of eternal life in Jesus Christ. They live in hard-to-reach, impoverished communities where parents struggle to provide the basics. Rarely do the children receive a present that's just for them. For the first time, these children heard that God loves them. This has resulted in evangelism, discipleship, and multiplication across the world!
